Protozoa

• Protozoa - A diverse group of unicellular eukaryotic organisms. They rely on the environment and other organisms for nutrition. Don't have chlorophyll.
• Phylum Sarcodina - moves by pseudopodia (false feet) amoeba
• Phylum Ciliophora - move by cilia (short, hairlike) paramecium
• Phylum Mastigophora - move by flagella (whiplike, tail) tsetse fly
• Phylum Sporozoa - no organs for locomotion/ plasmodium
