  Humans have 2 circulatory systems, one goes from the heart to the lungs (pulmonary circulatory system) one goes from the heart to the body (systemic circulatory system)
• Why is it important that we have a double circulatory system

  so that we can manage the pressure of the blood
• how does a double circulatory system manage the pressure of the blood

  for example the systemic circulatory system pumps blood at a higher pressure to ensure that all the cells in the body get oxygen. On the other hand, the pulmonary circulatory system pumps blood at a lower pressure to ensure that the capillaries in the lungs don't get damaged and to ensure that the flow of blood is slow so that there is enough time for gas exchange
