  • Claire is an incoming grade 9 student this school year. Due to the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, she has to choose from the mode of learning offered by the school. She wanted to choose online learning because she thought it is the safest way without requiring her mother to go to school and get her printed learning modules. But she has no laptop or any gadget for online learning delivery.
  • Then she remembered one of her activities in TLE class when she was in Grade 8, how to make no bake cookies. She decided to make cookies and sell it to the neighborhood. She continued to do this for three months before the opening of classes and she was able to save money to buy a cellphone which she could use for online learning.
