Rules and Regulation in Kitchen Laboratory
1. All accidents and breakages must be reported at once
2. Maintain high level of personal hygiene - wash hands, wear apron, tie hair back, roll up sleeves
3. Do not move around the kitchen with hot objects
4. Keep saucepan handles away from edges
5. Use oven gloves to remove hot dishes
6. Make sure all appliances are turned off after use
7. Be careful using sharp knives
8. Never touch plugs or electrical equipment with wet hands
9. Kitchen has fire blankets and extinguishers
10. Keep units tidy, place used cutlery on plate, put waste in correct bin
11. Handle food as little as possible
12. Never dip fingers into food, use clean spoon to taste
13. Never sit on kitchen work surfaces
14. Leave unit clean - cookers cleaned, sinks empty and washed
15. Wash and dry all dishes, cutlery and return to correct unit
16. Hang kitchen cloths on clotheshorse after use
17. Push chairs in under table after cooking
