Proper Noun
Is the name of specific person, place, thing, or idea.
It always begins with a capital letter.
Example: Manuel L. Quezon is considered as the father of the Philippine national language.
Common Noun
Is the generic name of a person, place, or thing in a class or group.
It is not capitalized unless it either begins a sentence or appears in a title.
Example: The CHEERLEADER was brought to the nearest hospital
Collective Noun
A noun that denotes a group of individuals. (e.g., assembly, family, or crew).
Example: The AUDIENCE clapped and cheered as the band showed up on the stage.
Concrete Noun
A noun that can be identified through one of the five senses (taste, touch, sight, hearing, or smell).
