Logical vs Physical

• • There are two main types of topologies: physical and logical
• The logical topology of a network: should be a high-level view of the information flow through semi-generic components in your network. This shows how the network operates.
• • The physical topology of a network: defines why it works, such as which port on the router is connected to which port on a switch, and so on.
