Wear goggles, get beaker, flask
evaporating basin

copper carbonate
and
bunsen burner
ready
Measure
40cm3
of
sulfuric
acid into a beaker then add a few amounts of
copper carbonate
after there is no more in
excess
(
fizzing
)
Then with the
beaker
pour the solution into a flask (with
filter paper
and
funnel
)
Then pour into an
evaporating basin
on the
bunsen burner
Turn the
bunsen burner
and
evaporate
until
half
of the solution is
remained
Leave to
crystallise
