Making Salts - Practical

• 1. Wear goggles, get beaker, flask evaporating basin, copper carbonate and bunsen burner ready
  2. Measure 40cm3 of sulfuric acid into a beaker then add a few amounts of copper carbonate after there is no more in excess (fizzing)
  3. Then with the beaker pour the solution into a flask (with filter paper and funnel)
  4. Then pour into an evaporating basin on the bunsen burner
  5. Turn the bunsen burner and evaporate until half of the solution is remained
  6. Leave to crystallise
