Positions of an Adjective
It appears before the noun it modifies. (BEAUTIFUL daughter)
It comes after the noun it modifies. (Imelda, rich, and famous, will donate 10% of her wealth)
It appears after linking verbs in the Subject - Linking Verb - Complement Pattern. (The room was DIRTY)
It comes after the noun complement in the Subject - Transitive Verb - Direct Object - Complement Pattern. (John made his point very CLEAR)
Descriptive Adjective - a word that gives quality, size, age, color, origin, and material/kind to a noun or pronoun. It answers the question "What kind of?"

Limiting Adjective - a word that points out an object or indicates its number or quantity. It answers the question, "Which?" or "How many?" or "How much?"
