Positions of an Adverb
It appears after the verb it modifies. (Mark dresses HANDSOMELY)
It comes before the verb it modifies. (Students ENTHUSIASTICALLY cheered the players)
It appears either at the beginning or at the end of a sentence. (ENTHUSIASTICALLY, they cheered the players. They cheered the players ENTHUSIASTICALLY)
It comes between a verb phrase.(Elena has ALREADY accomplished all her task)
It appears before an adjective. (Tony listens to an AMAZINGLY exciting audiobook)
It comes before another adverb. (The coronavirus spread quite rapidly)
