TYPES OF COPING MECHANISMS
Emotion Focused Coping Strategies - seek to adjust the emotions caused by a stressful event. This includes exercising, taking a bath, giving yourself a pep talk, and meditating.
Problem Solving Coping Strategies - Attempt to modify the environment or situation. This includes working on managing time, asking for support, establishi8ng healthy boundaries, and creating a to-do list.
