Occurs when greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide (CO2) and other pollutants cause the greenhouse effect, where they absorb and trap heat from solar radiation; results in the ongoing increase of the temperature of the Earth's atmosphere.
Renewable energy sources
Natural sources of energy that are constantly replenished and do not permanently deplete; examples are wind, sunlight, rain, geothermal heat, biomass etc.
Non-renewable energy sources
Sources of energy that cannot be replaced, and can run out or be depleted.

Non-renewable sources; material that has hydrocarbon that formed naturally from the fossilized remains of dead plants and animals from millions of years ago
