• Geology- The study of the structure of the earth originorigin and development
• Plate tectonic theory - A scientific explanation that describes how the lithosphere is divided into plates, which move over the asthenosphere.
• Lithosphere - The rigid outer layer of the earth made up of the crust and upper mantle. It is also known as tectonic plate or crustal
• Lithosphere is said to be in a constant motion but very slow. These motion is not exactly the same everywhere
