  • What is an uncodified constitution? 

    No single legal code - means there is no single document , it comes from many sources
  • what is an unentrenched constitution?
    it is east to change by a majority vote in parliament
  • what is a unitary constitution?

    where the legal sovereignty is placed in one area - this was Westminster until devolution
  • what is parliament sovereignty?
    -they can make laws on any subject - 1960's abortions, 2010's gay marriage, 2020's - people gathering during covid
    -legislation cannot be struck down by anyone higher: Judges can only make parliament aware and interpret the law but they cannot change the law
    -has the amend / re-Appel laws the previous governments made (Rwanda)(2003,1998 local government Act got re-appealed it originally made it illegal for schools to teach homosexuality )
