Law of Inertia: Newton's 1st Law of Motion

• Force: The impact on objects
• If force is applied on object, object will move, speeds up/slows down, change shape, or change direction
• Balanced Force - Equal forces in opposite directions, said to be balanced
• Unbalanced Force - Different amount of force in opposite directions, the object moves with the side of the greater force, there is acceleration
• Fnet (Net Force) means sum of all forces

• Object at rest will stay at rest unless unbalanced force is applied. Stays at rest because of Inertia
• Object in Motion (same speed, straight path) stay in motion because of it's Inertia unless unbalanced force is applied
