Hidden Curriculum

• Subjects that students study are biased to the White European culture and some books might present stereotypical images of some minority groups, or ignore some ethnic minorities altogether. This can lead to students not feeling valued which can lead to underachievement. This stresses the importance of the school environment to educational success for ethnic minorities.
