  the internal bodily functions of an organism that help it to be better suited to its environment

  eg. panting, producing venom, altering urine concentration, functional proteins (i.e. enzymes)
• behavioural adaptations


  the actions that an organism makes to improve its ability to survive in its environment

  eg. seeking shade, huddling, migrating
