  • POPULATION: all of the individuals of one psecies in a given area occupying the same habitat at the same time with the potential to interbreed
  • POPULATION: all individuals of the same species in the same area at the same time
  • CARRYING CAPACITY: the maximum stable population size that an environment can support
  • ECOSYSTEM: a self contained unit consisting of a community (or multiple) of species interacting with each other and with the non-living components of their environment
