Stable Population growth

• The stable population growth pyramid has a more square shape
• The base of the pyramid is more or less the same width as the reproductive section of the population
• A high standard of living in characteristic of stable populations and usually occurs in more developed countries
• A decline in natality occurs as a result of good family planning, financial planning and a high level of education
• Lower mortality (higher life expectancy) occurs as a result of good medical care nutrition and education
