  • What are the three levels of measurement?
    Nominal, ordinal and interval.
  • What is nominal data? [3]
    This is data that is represented in the form of categories. One item can only appear in one of the categories. This is the least sophistocated level of data and does not enable sensitive analysis.
  • What is ordinal data?[2]
    This is data that can be ranked in some way however the difference between values is not equal and involves some level of interpretation. It's based on subjective interpretation and lacks precision.
  • What is interval data? [2]
    Data that is based on numerical scales with established and equal intervals. They're more objective and the most precise and sophisticated level of data.
