• Columnar

  Lines inside of the small intestine. Absorbs food water; contains goblet cells to secrete mucus
• Ciliated

  Lines the trachea. Mucus from the goblet cells trap dust the beating cilia drives out mucus with dust
• Cuboidial

  Lines in the glands. Provides a variety of secretions, eg, milk and sweat
