• Watson and Rayner Aim - to investigate whether a fear response can be learned through classical conditioning in humans
• Method - 11 month old Little Albert was shown a white rat, who he had no response to.

  Watson and Rayner struck a metal bar behind him to make a loud noise every time he reached for the rat, startling him and making him cry.
• Conclusion - a fear response was induced through the process of classical conditioning. This caused him to develop a fear of white furry objects.
