    • Hypothermia
      A dangerously () body temperature, not to be confused with hyperthermia.
    • Hyperthermia
      A dangerously (high) body temperature. Not to be confused with hypothermia
    • Dyspnea
      Difficult and/or painful breathing.
    • Apnoea
      Breathing stops whilst asleep.
    • Pyrexia
      Raised body temperature.
    • Pica
      An eating disorder categorised by eating non-edible or non-food items.
    •  Polydipsia
      An abnormally great thirst
    • Polyuria
      An abnormally large amount of dilute urine.
    • Anuria
      Failure of the kidneys to produce urine.
    • Dysuria
      Painful and/or difficult urination.
    • Oliguria
      low urine output. Less than 20ml/h  or 400ml/day
    • Tachycardia
      An abnormally rapid heart rate
    • Bradycardia
      An abnormally slow heart rate (under 60bpm)
    •  Hypoxia
      Low levels of oxygen in your body tissues. A particular body-part or organ that has been starved of oxygen may become hypoxic.
    • Tachypnea
      An abnormally fast respiratory rate (breathing)
    • Bradypnea
      An abnormally slow respiratory rate. (breathing)
    • Systemic
      Affects multiple systems. "You have a systemic infection".
    • Pulmonary
      Used to describe the lungs.
    • Cardiac
      Used to describe the heart.
    • Gastric
      Used to describe the stomach.
    • Renal
      Used to describe the kidneys.
    • Lymphatic
      Used to describe the lymph system or lymph nodes.
    • Muscular
      Used to describe the muscles 
    • Skeletal
      Used to describe the skeleton.
    • Endocrine
      The system which produces hormones.
    • Excretory
      The system which produces faeces.
    • Urinary
      The system that produces urine.
    • Circulatory
      The system that allows blood to travel throughout the body.
    • Reproductive
      The system that differs between men and women, allowing women to get pregnant and men to produce sperm to fertilize eggs.
    • Digestive
      The system that digests food and places it in the excretory system.
    • Cardiovascular
      The system that pumps blood around the body, works with the circulatory system.
    • Integumentary
      The skin, hair and nails system of the body.
    • Neural
      The system that allows the brain to interact with the body using nerves, or neurons.
    • Pyrexia
      Raised body temperature (fever)
