  • Health Related Fitness Components
    • Muscular Strength - Ability of the muscle to exert force against resistance.
    • Muscular Endurance - Ability of the muscle to use repeated muscular contraction against resistance for a long period of time.
    • Cardiorespiratory Fitness - Ability of the heart and lungs to deliver nutrients and oxygen.
    • Flexibility - Ability of the joints to move throughout the full range of movement.
    • Body Composition - The percentage of fat, muscle, and bone in the body.

    • Agility - Ability to change positions, movements, or direction with quickness and lightness.

  • Body Mass Index (BMI) is a simple measurement used to assess whether a person has a healthy body weight for their height. It is calculated by dividing a person's weight in kilograms by the square of their height in meters (kg/m?). While it is a useful screening tool, it doesn't account for factors like muscle mass or distribution of body fat, so it's not a perfect measure of health.
