Hypothesis`

• Aim- what you expect the result to be
• • Hypothesis- what you predict the outcome/result will be
• Directional hypothesis- when you have previous data or research already on the topic you can say "more" or "less"
• Non directional hypothesis- when you have no previous research or data on the topic you say "there will be a difference between"
• Psychologist write a null and an alternate hypothesis in order accept one and reject the other once they have completed their experiment.
• Null hypothesis- predict no difference or correlation
• Alternate hypothesis - predict a difference or correlation can be directional or non directional.
