    Property prices have increased rapidly and have priced out old residents. Old residents couldn't afford the new social housing. Pubs were lost and Hulme still lacks community spirt, Hulme still is top 3 wards for child poverty

    Produced 3000 new homes Aimed and prioritised local communities the 1960 crescents were demolished and replaced with modern private houses – local people were consulted in designing.  The project also improved the amenities such as shops, health centres, schools, playgrounds, and leisure facilities to reduce social tension and low wellbeing produced by limited amenities. The main shopping is of the markets was regenerated, Asda employed local people to reduce crime and anti-social behaviour and culture of dependency present.
