  • What does EEG measure and how
EEG measures electrical activity in the brain. This involves electrodes being placed on the scalp to detect small electrical charges resulting from neutral activity occuring in brain cells.
  • What is the number of electrodes planted based on
Based on the areas of research. The wider the area, the more electrodes needed.
  • What does EEG record
It records signals from thousands of neurons directly under the electrodes and thus provides a measure of general activity of the brain
  • What are the 4 patterns of electrical activity
    Alpha, beta, delta, theta
