    • To shift attention from negative anxiety provoking thoughts to a relaxed, focused mindset 
    • To more positive ones
    • To help you reach your optimal level of physical & mental arousal (activation), before & during competition
    • To help you achieve proper pre competition mental preparation
  • Why Use Relaxation?

    • Is so aren’t over aroused 
    • Window of opportunity to use centering/relaxation skills to return to optimal level & try avoid cognitive anxiety & catastrophe - to start from start
