• The Locarno Pact was a treaty between Germany, France, Britain, Italy, and Belgium
• Under the Locarno Pact, France promised future peace with Germany
• This made war in Europe less likely
• Stresemann was awarded a Nobel Peace Prize in 1926
• Germany was now being treated as an equal
