What is the abstract?
A short summary of the study, includes aims, hypothesis, method, results and conclusions
what is the introduction?
a literature review - a look at relevant theories, concepts and studies related to current study
what is the method?
detailed method to allow replication. should include the design, sample, apparatus, procedure and ethics
what are the results?
a summary of key findings from the investigation, descriptive and inferential statistics along with raw data
what is the discussion?
a summary of findings, relationship of results to previous research, consideration of limitations and wider implications
what is the referencing section?
referencing any articles, books or websites that were involved in the investigation
