60 university students & 60 older adults from the community.
pps saw a vid of a girl stealing money from a wallet. pps tested individually(control group) or in pairs (co-witness group). Co-witness pps told they'd watched the same video but they'd seen different perspectives of the same crime. Only one person witnessed the girl stealing.
co-witness group discussed the crime then completed a questionnaire, testing their memory of the event
Found: 71% of witnesses in the co-witness group recalled info they hadn't seen.
