The link between class and crime is clear because a person's social class and themselves are linked closely because of labelling and things like status frustration.official statistics show that the working class are more likely to commit crime then the higher class.
Official statistics do not refer to the social class of a person. How do we know there is a link?
Because official statistics are recorded by police and other higher class industries which will naturally label any working class people as deviant and are more likely to commit crime in society.
