• Fake news- it is the spread to misinform or deceive the public.
• Type of Fake news:

  • False Stories
• Misleading Headlines- this is when a headline is written in such a way that it gives a different impression on the audience. They want to sensationalize the issue ot exaggerate details.
• Sloppy journalism- providing wrong or unreliable information in a news story without doing thorough fact-checking
• Propaganda - to influence the audience to adopt to a certain view or perspective towards an issue or person.
• Clickbait- a headline that is designed to attract a lot of attention and clicks from people. It lure people into accessing an article or video because they create intrigue.
• Satire/ Parody- these are intentionally fake and is done for entertainment purposes. It may come across as ridiculous and even nonsensical.
• False Stories -stories that are 100% false
