Sterlise the inculating loop used to transfer microoganisms from the agar plate to the petri dish by heating it
The purpose of sterilising the incubator is to kill any bacteria that may be present on its surface, preventing contamination of your samples.
Use separate pipettes for different solutions/samples to avoid mixing them up.
2.Dip the sterlised loop in suspension of the bacteria you want to grow and use it to make a zigzag streak acroos the surface of the agar. REplace the lid quickly aspossible to avoid contamination
fix the lid of the petri dish with tape to avoid micoorganisms coming in-or microbes escapig.DONOT seal all the way around the edge as oxygen needs to enter to prevent harmfulk bacteria growing
4. Pteri dish shoul be lablled and place upside down
