    • Bacteria reproduces cells and relases toxis which make you feel ill
    • Viruses reproduce inside the host cell, they are not alive but can cause disease. They live inside your cells and replicate themselvs
    • pathogens can be spread by these things
      air
      water
      direct contact
    • direct contact- Many diseases are spread by direct contact like HIV. This by sexually transmitted diseases. it can aslo be ctched by cuts, sctaches..
    • 1.preventing infections-being hygenic :
      washing hands
      sneezing on a tissue
      using idsinfectant on kitchen
    • 2. preventing infection-Isolation
      this can be by staying at home. As fewer healthy people will be in contact with the infected people, so less likely the pathogen will be passed on
    • 3. preventing infection-Vaccination:
      This is when they instert a dead or inactive pathogen to your body which causes your body to produce antibodies to attack them . So if a live pathogen of that pathogen does comes you are less likely to kill as there is an antibody spercifically for that pathogen
    • 4. preventing infection-Antibiotics: antibiotics kill bacteria which causes many infectious diseases. Antibiotics do not work against viral infections because they only affect living organisms (like us) and not nonliving ones (like viruses).
