• Old Structure or type of Beat includes topics like National, International Affairs, Politics, Education, and Economics.
• New Structure Topics include the way we live, Quality of Life, Leisure, Local Government, Consumer News, Education, Health, Sports, Medicine, Environment, and Crime.
• Interview types and techniques include Interview, Non-Famous Interview, Specialists, Written Interview, Phone interview, One-on-One, face to face, Journalist and Subject, Panel Interview, Ambush Interviews, and Steps in Interviewing.
• Research in interviewing includes Checklist For Interview, Appointment Strategy, Planning the Questions & meeting your Interviewee, and Types of Questions in Interview.
