Monera - all members are prokaryotes - all bacteria belongs to this kingdom - usually single celled - usually asexual reproduction - they all have cell walls
Protista - all members are eukaryotic - mostly single celled or simple multi-celled organism - usually found in water -all members are autotrophic -eg. algae and amoeba
Fungi - eg. mushrooms, moulds and yeast - all members are heterotrophic - mainly multi-celled - contain hyphae - walls made from chitin (structural carbohydrate) - reproduce usually by spores
plants - eg. trees, grass and flowers - made up of complex multicellular organisms - all members autotrophic - cell walls made from cellulose - can reproduce asexually and sexually - cells contain large vacuoles for storgae
Animals - eg. humans, birds, horses, worms - multi-celled complex organisms - heterotrophic - no cell walls - usually produce sexually - presence of nervous and muscular systems
