• verbal guidance is explaining through talking to the performer and you must be good with communicating so they don't interpret your words in the wrong way
• visual guidance is explaining to the performer what they should be doing through a correct example
• manual guidance is physically helping the performer perform the skill safely and correctly
• mechanical guidance is using equipment to help the performer complete the skill correctly and safely
