• Types of Aid:

  ODA - given by governments and paid for by taxes

  Multi - lateral - given by countries through international organisations like the world bank

  Bi-lateral - given directly by one country to another

  Voluntary - given by individuals or companies, distributed through charities

  Short-term - to cope with immediate problems

  Long-term - to help people improve their lives through education, health care or agricultural development
