  • Informal client brief - not written, casual and flexible. provides creative freedom. disadvantage: requirements are not precisely defined.
  • Meetings and Discussions - an interactive way to convey a brief, opportunity to discuss the requirements. if the meeting is not recorded properly, requirements may be missed or forgotten
  • Negotiated brief - negotiate the scope, pricing, and timescales of the project. beneficial to planning and producing
  • Written brief - written document sent to media worker sent via mail or email. outlines client requirements and expectations. clear and allow planning and production to start quickly. might miss out on key information
