• The Great Commission: Orders Christ gave to his Apostles to make disciples of all nations and to baptise them.
• Church Army: An evangelistic organisation founded within the Church of England.
• European Christian Mission (ECM): Trains missionaries who work alongside local churches.
• Serving In Mission (SIM): An international evangelical and interdenominational organisation based in the UK. They send mission workers around the world to work as well as preach the Gospel.
• Alpha: Started by an Anglican priest to help church members understand the basics of the Christian faith.
• Planting Churches: Establishing new churches in communities so that the Christian community can grow (like a plant).
• Link Churches: Churches that are not physical churches in their own right but are linked to a central church.
• Ichthus celebrations: Where people from a number of churches come together.
• Ichthus congregations: Where local churches meet for worship and service to the community.
• Church Growth: A third of the world's population claim to be Christian. Around 80,000 people become Christians every day and 500 new churches are formed.
• Christ for all Nations: A Christian organisation promoting evangelism by holding evangelistic meetings throughout the world (especially in Africa).
