  • To express that you want something in Korean, use the formula: Noun + (/) 원합니다
  • Example: "저는 음식을 원합니다" means "I want food"
  • The opposite of wanting something is expressed by using 원하지 않습니다
  • Example: "저는 채소를 원하지 않습니다" means "I don't want vegetables"
  • To express wanting to do an action, use the formula: Verb Stem + 고 싶습니다
  • To find the verb stem, remove from the verb
  • Example: "저는 돈을 벌고 싶습니다" means "I want to earn money"
  • The opposite is expressed by using 고 싶지 않습니다

  • The Particle 도 means "also," "even," or "too" and is placed directly after a word

  • The Particle 만 works similarly to and emphasizes exclusivity
