Eucharist importance

• The Eucharist (Holy Communion) - a sacrament which gives Gods grace to help live good lives and grow closer to God.
• The Mass celebrates the resurrection and reminds Catholics that there is life after death.
• Catholics are in real presence of Jesus - through the bread and wine. - They Join with Jesus by receiving his body and blood - brings them closer to salvation.
• Jesus commanded attendance at Mass when he said at the Last Supper, “Do this in memory of me.”
