Virtue ethics

• In justice "... every virtue is summed up"
• Death penalty was used in Athenian society, it was seen as a part of life so Aristotle did not discuss it in his work
• Justice has no excess of deficiency
• Justice is an altruistic virtue: for the good of others and is an end in itself
• Justice requires bravery, courage and temperance
• Justice should make a person better: allows for rectifying, balancing and restoring
