Article 8

• Article 8 is a qualified right contained in the European Convention on Human Rights. It includes the right to a private life, family life, home life and correspondence. As it is a qualified right A8 can be interfered with if it is in accordance with the law, that it is for one of the six aims, and that the interference is necessary in a democratic society, these criteria are set out in A8(2).
