• Describe the process of meiosis:

  1. The genetic information is duplicated
  2. Chromosomes orange themselves into pairs
  3. The chromosome pairs line up in the centre of the cell
  4. The pair pull apart so each cell has one copy of each chromosome (1st division)
  5. The chromosomes line up again in the centre if the cell and pull apart (2nd division)
