    • Communication - process of transferring or imparting knowledge or ideas with your audience from one place, person, or group to another
    • Verbal - A type of communication where messages are transmitted by mouth or written. It uses WORDS.
    • Types of verbal communication:

    • Non verbal - wordless messages
    • Body language is an example of Non verbal
    • Media - multiple mediums, communication tools or vehicles for messages.
    • Information - facts provided or learned about something/someone
    • Information - reception of knowledge/intelligence
    • Technology - use of 21st century devices such as mobile phones, computers, etc.
    • Literacy - ability to identify, understand, interpret, communicate using different means with various context.
    • Media literacy - ability to access, analyze, evaluate, create, act using all forms of communication
    • Media literacy process:
      access
      analyze and evaluate
      create
      act
    • Information literacy - set of skills requiring people to recognize when information is needed and have the ability to locate, evaluate, and use effectively the needed info.
    • Technology literacy - person working responsibly, appropriately, and effectively using technology to access, manage, communicate information.
