In the forearm, the ulnar nerve passes into the anterior compartment by passing between the two heads of FCU
It then descends down the medial side forearmbetweenFCU and FDP
At the wrist the nerve lies lateral to the FCUtendon and medial to ulnar artery
It crosses over the flexor retinaculum into the hand where it divides into superficial and deep branches within Guyon’s canal (between the hook of hamate and the pisiform)
