  • Anterior interosseous nerve:
    1. In the cubital fossa, the median nerve gives off the anterior interosseous nerve
    2. Goes deep to descend down the forearm on the anterior surface of the interosseous membrane between FPL and FDP
    3. It runs deep to pronator quadratus and ends at the wrist
    A) Anterior interosseous nerve
  • Anterior interosseous nerve - Motor Supply:
    • Flexor pollicis longus
    • lateral half of FDP
    • pronator quadratus
    A) Anterior interosseous nerve
  • Anterior interosseous nerve - Sensory Supply:
    • Articular branches to the radiocarpal and intercarpal joints
