  1. divides into several palmar digital nerves
  2. They pass through the palm deep to the palmar aponeurosis but superficial to the long flexor tendons

  • Dorsal aspect of the distal phalanges of the lateral 3 and half digits
  • Articular branches to the metacarpophalangeal and interphalangeal joints
