  • Dorsal branch:
    1. Arises from the ulnar nerve in the distal 1/3 of the forearm
    2. Passes backwards deep to FCU to become superficial on the medial side of the wrist
    3. Here it gives off branches to the dorsal surface of the wrist and hand

  • Dorsal branch - Sensory Supply:
    • Skin on the dorsal surface of medial side of the hand and the dorsal surfaces of the medial 1 and half digits (excluding skin over distal phalanx)
